1.5 Hours - Elevator stiffener trimming

Today I trimmed all the elevator stiffeners to length. I also trimmed the excess off to get them to the correct shapes to fit the elevator skins. Here are all of them awaiting final drilling and deburring. There are actually twice as many there than it appears, as those are all stacks of two matching parts. (Except the one extra 'H' piece in the back.)

Another note today about the blue tint from the alodine. After a little searching around and a encoruaging comment on the VAF forum, I think it was probably caused by the copper in the aluminum alloy. So it appears that I will have nothing to worry about here and that the primer will stick to it just fine. I still think for the next session I'll go for the dunk trough to see how that turns out...
