1 Hour - Riveted hinge brackets on VS spar

Today I got some rustoleum primer at Home Depot so I could prime the holes drilled in the steel hinge brackets. Those things are powder coated, but when you final drill them the powder coat in the holes goes bye bye. And since it's steel, it'll defintiely corrode, especially since it's in contact with aluminum alloy rivets... So I primed them after coming home, then a couple hours later I riveted them on. I had trouble with a couple rivets again today (and I was definitely using the right length this time). I'm seriously considering whether a pneumatic squeezer is worth the money now. I think it'd be MUCH easier to set nice straight rivets every time with it, and it'd save my hands, too. I got a nice cramp in my left hand today while squeezing, so it's looking more attractive every day. But $500 is a lot of money for one little tool. Ebay always has a couple for around $300-400, so maybe I'll go for that. Oh well, we'll see. Here's the VS skeleton together as far as I can get it before my skin is dimpled...
