My replacement parts from Van's arrived today. So, I finished up the edge deburring on the elevator ribs and started working on those HS parts. First step, redrill the holes in HS-702. So I clecoed the angles on and drilled. After drilling them I realized that I had them offset by one hole. So that part is screwed again! Damn... I guess I'll have to order it once more... Another $20 out the window. So I'm done for tonight.
On a lighter note, I didn't get any work done yesterday because I was having dinner with some of the local RV builders. A very nice group of guys. I'm going to help Jeff buck some rivets on his canopy skin, and he's gonna let me borrow his trailing edge bending tool, so I won't have to buy the door hinges and make one of my own.
