1 Hours - Got DRDT-2, dimpled VS skin

Today I got the DRDT-2, assembled and immediately tried it out. It is much easier to use this thing than the hand squeezer for dimpling. I used it just sitting on the table with the back side bolted down. 1 hand to hold the skin in place and one to run the dimpler. I can't imagine that a regular c-frame dimpler is a 1 person tool. And it's absolutely silent, something that I know cannot be said for the standard c-frame. Here are the nice, consistent dimples in my VS skin.

Here's the DRDT-2. It is quite substancial, you can see the 12" ruler leaning up against it. I spent another hour or so cutting up wood to make the skin support table in the plans included with the DRDT. It's all cut now, I just have to nail/screw it together and put some carpet or something on it. Then this thing will be even more 1-person friendly. I know it says it's only for dimpling in the instructions, but I'll have to email the builder, Paul Merems, and ask if it'll work for smashing AD3 rivets... I'll bet it would have no problem doing that...
