Today I peeled strips of vinyl off my left elevator skin and dimpled the whole thing. I hope to get some good stuff accomplished this weekend, like bending the elevator skins and priming all the stuff in the 'ready to prime' pile. This weekend is supposed to be the first in over a month and a half without rain. And mid-70s and sunny sounds like a perfect time to get some priming done. I doubt it, but maybe I'll have my HS parts ready to prime by then too. The second new HS-702 is supposed to arrive Friday, and I'm determined NOT to screw this one up... I'll be quite pleased if I can get the whole empennage primed in only two sessions. It's not really my favorite thing to do, as you can see by the primer splashes on the vinyl in the picture below...
