1.5 Hours - Bent trim tab trailing edge, built end tab bending jig

Today I built the wooden jig to bend the end tabs on the trim tab. I may still need to do a little work to get it to fit nicely and make nice bends, but this is close to the final product. I tried fitting it, but quickly discovered that the trim tab skin definitely needed to be bent before it'd fit properly for bending the end tabs.

So here's the result of my bending of the trailing edge. It's tough to get that edge bent really sharp, but it matches what is shown in the 'trailing edge bending' figures at the end of the construction section of the instructions. The top and bottom are both flat out the the edge where a fairly small radius bend occurs. There is no bulge or weirdness, so I think this is as good as it gets. I bent it just slightly more than what is needed to fit the spar in there, so when I set it in there the skin sits tightly on the spar. I bent it by simply using a piece of plywood to put pressure on the top part while the bottom part just sat on the table. It took a bunch of weight to get it to bend nicely and a little extra work with my fingers, but it turned out good after working on it for a half hour or so...
