1 Hour - Bent trim tab ends, ordered wing kit

Here's the trim tab in its bending jig. This side has already been bent with the wood block/hammer and it just awaiting final bending with the rivet gun.

This turned out really nice. I was worried, and therefore very careful with it, since I heard that this can be a trouble-spot for people.

Here's the outboard end, and you can even see the fine looking guy that was working on it in the shiny aluminum skin... :)

And the inboard end.. It really turned out nice, if I must say so...

I sent in the order and my deposit for the wing kit today. The freshly updated lead time table puts my wing kit arrival in mid-June (12 weeks!), so I have some time for all the finishing touches on the empennage. By then I'll definitely have all the fiberglass tips and all that good stuff completed. That'll be good as I won't have to mess with that stuff later, and it'll keep me from trying to rush it.
