Here's the comleted HS skins from yesterday. All dimpled and deburred.
Today was the day to start on the horizontal stabilizer skeleton. Here I am getting the rear spar doublers clecoed on to the rear spar. This thing is long, so I had to take the DRDT-2 dimpler off the table so I could use the whole length. (One of the reasons I did the skin deburring and dimpling before skeleton assembly.)
After a bunch of hand torture using the squeezers on these AD4 rivets, I'm 3/4 of the way done with the doubler riveting. You can see the unsqueezed rivets waiting for their turn tomorrow. After the rivet squeezing on this plane I'll have to be careful not to crush people's hands when giving handshakes. My forearms should look like Popeye's :)
