2 Hours - FINISHED LEFT ELEVATOR!

Today I did a little morning work before I had to go to real work for a while. I did a little filing under the pushrod for the trim tab. The rod ends up rubbing the skin when the trim tab is in the 'up' position. I still need to do some more as it's better, but not perfect yet. I want to look at some other electric trims to see if this is all correct, though, as the instructions don't mention this. They say you might need to trim for pin clearance near the servo actuator arm, but mine never goes that far, but the pushrod rubs instead. This might have to be a 'redo' for me sometime in the future, but we'll see. I also adjusted the bend in the skin on the bottom of the tab for minimal clearance. With the tab in the 'down' position I set the bend so there was about 1/16" clearance all along the back of the spar on the elevator. I had originally bent it much farther than that and it left a giant gap there, especially when the tab wasn't all the way down.

Once I was back from work, I finished the elevator up. Basically it was rolling of the leading edge and installing the eye bolts.
