The VS tip got some flox mixture put on over the top of the single piece of fiberglass that was plugging the hole in the back end. I've been thinking about the HS tips. The fiberglass I put in there didn't leave enough room for flox/filler to get it nice and smoothed out. So I tore it out of there. I was not looking forward to having to do it over again, so I was thinking about alternatives. I've decided that I will just put a piece of foam in there and goop a good layer of flox over it. That'll be plenty sturdy for this application and will be much less of a pain than trying to stuff fiberglass cloth back in there and get it right. And I'd just be putting flox over the top of it anyways, so this will just save a step...
