I finally broke down and got some rattle can primer. Sherwin Williams 988. It is way, WAY more convenient than the other stuff. Definitely not as good, as it is easily scratched and, of course, doesn't have the corrosion protection of the strontium chromate primer, but it's OK for a bunch of stuff. And the ease of use will probably make me think it's OK for even more stuff. :) Anyways, I primed and riveted the tiedown brackets and spacers. It was way back in the instructions, but it doesn't matter, it's done now. I also did some miscellaneous stuff, like some more edge and hole deburring of wing skins...
